After receiving it, he went away into another country where he lived prodigally and spent all his riches. Soon there was famine and the young son did not have anything to eat. He came to his senses and decided to return to his father and ask for forgiveness. The father sees him coming from afar, clothed in rags and weak, is filled with compassion and runs out to meet him, falls on his neck and kisses him.
